Nick's Open House!

A couple of weeks ago, my friend Nick moved into a new apartment. This past weekend we had a little housewarming for him and I took some photos.

Fall TV - It's about time.

I'm really pumped about tonight's Grey's Premiere. Summer TV has been far too boring. I'm trying to watch Dancing with the Stars, but I can't really devote three nights a week to one show. I missed a couple of nights, but no fear, Mom and Mamma Thelma keep me in the know.

I do love Donny:)

Here are some daycare pics of Zoe from Wednesday.

The Fly Girls are having a little House Warming for Nick this weekend. Details and pics to follow.

Friendship

The Fly Girls became friends 8 years ago today at the Falls Creek conf. center in OK. We established out Founder's Day 7 years ago and always set aside time each year to celebrate the blessing of our friendship.
Happy Founder's Day Steffi, Christa and Cheryl.

Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner.

I was sad to hear that Patrick Swayze passed away.
Like most of us who grew up in the 80s I am a fan of Dirty Dancing. I was not allowed to see it when it came out, however I did watch it at Stacy Lux's slumber party and didn't tell the Rents.
He will be missed.
In other 80s news. . . . Did anyone see the first part of the Oprah Whitney Houston interview yesterday. It got a lot of press so I watched only to find that it wasn't that interesting of an interview. Part two which is on today, promises an interview with Bobbi Christina who apparently spent time in an Atlanta rehab facility with her mother. Today's show may prove to be more interesting. We'll see.

Labor Day Weekend. Blogging Break Over.

I bet you all (and by "you all" I mean the 3 people who actually read this blog) thought I had disappeared for good. Not so - I guess I've just been on a little blogging break.

School has started and I'm getting back into a more regular routine now, so lets hope I can manage to post at least once a week.

This weekend was pretty much uneventful. Friday after school and cleaned out my big storage closet and put up my Fall decorations. I love Fall. I think I decorate for Fall as much as I do for Christmas. Saturday I stayed home most of the day except for a trip to Walmart. Sunday Christa and I headed to Crockett to meet up with Steffi and Tad, the Rents and Mama Thelma. We had a good time at Don Rafa's followed by yet another trip to Walmart. Monday I did absolutely nothing worth blogging about. Back to work tomorrow.

Here's my Autumn Open House!

Zoe welcomes you!

Notice the fab place mats that were a B-Day gift. - Thanks C and C

If you care to share your own open house, leave a comment with a link. I'll post a list of the links by the end of the week.
